The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year, for up to three years, paid bi-annually.

Details:
To be eligible for the Sir Reginald Ansett Scholarship - Aviation scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be an Australian citizen
- have completed Year 12 in 2024 (or in 2023 and taken a gap year in 2024)
- be a commencing first year Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2025
- be enrolled full-time in an eligible course (see courses eligible in section above)
- have achieved a minimum ATAR of 85.00 and provide ATAR certificate as evidence (criteria waived for students in Early Entry Program)
- submit a personal statement (500 words) demonstrating a passion for an Aviation career
- provide evidence of financial hardship:
- Centrelink statement
- Payslips
Once applications have closed and shortlisting has been completed, all shortlisted applicants will be contacted to provide a personal written reference. This reference should be submitted within 5 days of request and can be written by a teacher, community leader, or employer.
