The $35,000 Scholarship will normally be tenable for the minimum program duration (6 years) of the Medicine program (BMed/MD), subject to satisfactory progress.

Details:
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must be:
- an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander as identified by their community
- commencing full-time study in the BMed/MD program at UNSW
- prospectively entering their first year
Selection will be based on:
- A combination of the UAC Equity Scholarship application and the Pre Med Exit Interview
- Academic merit
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in the area of Medicine and the commitment to a career in Indigenous Health
- Personal qualities and contributions to the wider community; for example communication skills, evidence of leadership skills, involvement in extra-curricular activities, cultural activities, sport and community groups
